Educational Difthera changes name! Now, it is Teacher's virtual desk.

An name easy to remember is a crucial factor at the success of an applications. Thus, a change that should had happened before the publication of Educational Difthera is now a decision: The new name of the application Educational Difthera is Teacher's virtual desk. This blog will continue to support the application and be the main place where all questions and answers about the application will appear! Τώρα και στα Ελληνικά: Το όνομα μίας εφαρμογής πρέπει να είναι ευκολομνημόνευτο και ως εκ τούτου η ονομασία Εκπαιδευτική Διφθέρα ήταν μία λανθασμένη επιλογή. Η νέα ονομασία της εφαρμογής στα ελληνικά θα είναι η αντίστοιχη εκλαικευμένη εκδοχή της, Το τεφτέρι του δασκάλου. Αυτό το ιστολόγιο θα παραμείνει το σημείο αναφοράς της εφαρμογής όπου θα δημοσιευονται όλα τα σημαντικά νέα σχετικά με την εφαρμογή αλλά και οι ερωτήσεις και απαντήσεις σχετικά με τη χρήση της στην καθημερινότητα ενός εκπαιδευτικού.

Execution failure report - Αναφορά αδυναμίας εκτέλεσης

[UPDATE Wednesday July 29, 2015]  The problem in the code was at the third line of the MainActivity where I declared that the application should appear in landscape mode... setRequestedOrientation ( ActivityInfo . SCREEN_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE );   For a reason I do not understand that line created a memory overflow in some devices and the application was instantly crashed. I manage to find the faulty code by try and error when I created a Nexus 5 API 22 x86 virtual device and reproduce this situation. The solution was to remove the above faulty line and type android : screenOrientation = "landscape"   in the AndroidManifest.xml file. I hope that the 1.0.25 version of Educational Difthera (published July 25) will run normally at all android devices. If this not the case please inform me in order to try to resolve the bad situation.
